Fun on Lake Grapevine

On Saturday evening we were able to meet with our friends John and Susan Perone. We spent the evening at a sunset cruise on Lake Grapevine. We had a wonderful and relaxing evening with some wonderful friends from years past. We love to spend time with them, it's always fun to catch up on each others family. Thanks Perones

We're Home Now, Back to Cucumber Farming

Back to life at home, where Mark has become quite the cucumber farmer. I have decided if he loses his job, he can take up cucumber farming. He has been able to harvest somewhere in the neighborhood of 200+ cucumbers this year, so far(they just keep coming). We now know that cucumbers are prolific in our garden, nothing else seems to like it as well as our cucumbers do. Gavin has taken to playing with them as a fun toy and cargo in his emergency vehicle. He loves to cut them up and eat them with salt too.

Five Fun Days in Branson

We went to Branson with the Warnick Brothers, their Wives, and Mom & Dad Warnick. What a great city, so patriotic and clean, with wholesome entertainment, and lots of fun. We went to several shows "The Duttons" & "SIX", Silver Dollar City(an amusement park), and on a Showboat dinner cruise(paddle boat). The week was filled with lots of talking, joking, planning and lots of "Warnickisms". Oh my! Mark and Dave both were fortunate enough to be called up on stage at two seperate events, where they made fools of themselves:). I'm just sure Lee had something to do with it, but he still denies it. What a desperately needed break for us, but it's always good to get back to our own bed.
